Last Weekend, Congressman John Tierney (MA-6) and Congresswomen Niki Tsongas  (MA-5) campaigned together in Tewksbury, one of the towns redistricted into the district now represented by Tierney. Tierney and Tsongas talked with voters directly at their doorsteps.

They introduced themselves to people and listened to their concerns. Tierney received a positive response and identified new supporters in a neighborhood near the intersection of Main Street and Shawsheen Street.

“It was great reaching out to voters in Tewksbury with my friend Niki Tsongas,” said Congressman Tierney. “I enjoyed opportunity to hear what issues are most important to people in Tewksbury. Voters have a clear choice in this election between my record of fighting for the middle class and my opponent’s support for the extreme Tea Party agenda.”

“I am proud to support John in this campaign,” said Congresswomen Niki Tsongas. “I look forward to continuing to work with John in Congress on the issues that matter most to the families of Massachusetts. I know he will be strong advocate for the people of Tewksbury.”

Tierney has knocked doors in communities across the 6th District. The Tierney campaign has been running an aggressive voter contact operation and has been sending volunteers to go door-to-door every weekend.
