7 Exciting Programs For Adults @ Tewksbury Public Library This September

A Month of Mt. Everest, the Appalachian Trail, Extreme Couponing, Wardrobe Makeovers, Relationship Astrology, Dinner & A Movie, and More!

Tuesday, September 4, 7pm: Climbing Mount Everest Climber and guide Craig John will give a presentation about climbing and guiding around the world.  The talk will focus on his ascent of the seldom-climbed North Ridge of Mt. Everest while covering some of his other expeditions to mountains such as Kilimanjaro, Denali and Cho Oyu, to name a few.  Register here.

Tuesday, September 11, 7pm: Hiking the Appalachian Trail  Hiker Roger Tetreault will share his 2,176-mile hike of the Appalachian Trail with a presentation that captures the sounds and sights of his adventure.  Hear his tales of extreme weather, wild animal encounters, and meeting wonderful fellow thru-hikers.  Register here.

Thursday, September 13, 7pm: Couponing 101 (RR) Master couponer Jamie Chase, author of The Lazy Couponer, has been featured on “Today” and “The NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.”  She will teach folks where to find coupons; how to use them; and where to get the most bang for your buck.  With a little practice, you’ll see the savings start rolling in!  Register here.

Friday, September 28, 7pm: Dinner & A Movie - The Avengers (RR) The library will be serving dinner and screening one of Hollywood’s latest DVD releases – “The Avengers” (PG-13).  This action film, which grossed $616.8 million at the box office, stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L.
