Keon Patric Horahan of Tewksbury Named to Clemson University President's List

Keon Patric Horahan of Tewksbury has been named to the President's List at Clemson University for the fall 2012 semester.

Horahan is majoring in Biological Sciences.

To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Area Residents Named to Dean's List at Providence College

The following area residents have been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the Fall 2012 semester:

Tyler Stein of Tewksbury, MA and a member of the class of 2016,

Nicholas Thomas of Tewksbury, MA and a member of the class of 2016,

Samantha Wood of Tewksbury, MA and a member of the class of 2013,

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.

Tewksbury Residents Receive High Honors at Salem State University

Jocelyn Christopher, Amy Decelles and Jaymie Giuffre, all of Tewksbury, are among of the 216 Salem State University students recently inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, the national first-year honor society, for being a full-time student with a grade-point average of a 3.5 or higher and in the top 20 percent of their class during their freshman semester.

Reinstated after eight years of inactivity, the Salem State chapter is one of nearly 270 chapters of Alpha Lambda Delta at institutions of higher learning throughout the United States. Established in 1924, Alpha Lambda Delta has inducted thousands of outstanding community leaders and proudly sponsors Salem State University’s efforts to recognize academic excellence.

Tewksbury Resident, Caitlin Wood, Named to Dean's List at Florida Institute of Technology

Caitlin Wood, a resident of Tewksbury, MA, was among the students from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne who were named to the Dean's List for the fall semester, which ended in December. Wood is majoring in Chemical Engineering.

To be included on the Dean's List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.4.

Western New England University's Jennifer Trevor Named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges

 Jennifer Trevor of Tewksbury, MA, majoring in Accounting at Western New England University, has been selected for inclusion in the 2012-2013 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Trevor is one of 36 students from Western New England University who have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders.

The University's nominating committee and editors of the annual directory have included Trevor based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

Ariel Bliss Achieves Dean's List at TCNJ

Ariel Bliss, a Junior Music Education major and a resident of Tewksbury, has earned the esteemed honor of placement on the Dean's List at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) for the 2012 Fall semester. To achieve this honor, a student must carry 12 or more credits that semester and have a 3.5 grade point average or above.
