Friday Marks Graduation for Tewksbury's Class of 2014

Friday night has been a long time coming for Tewksbury Memorial High School students. Graduation is just hours away.

The school's annual commencement ceremonies are scheduled to take place Friday night as the Class of 2014 will walk across the stage and receive their diplomas after years of hard work.

Friday night's ceremony begins at 6 p.m. and will take place inside the Tewksbury Memorial High School gymnasium.

There are plenty of bright spots in the Class of 2014. Among them is a group of students who received the Academic Excellence Award last month and will graduate with one of three levels of distinction.

To graduate Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or Summa Cum Laude, Tewksbury students must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
