Preschool Developmental Screening in Tewksbury Public Schools

Screening is conducted by a team of child development specialists.

(Editor's note: The following information was submitted by the Tewksbury Public Schools.)

Tewksbury Public Schools is pleased to offer an opportunity for parents/guardians to have their child participate in a developmental screening conducted by staff from the Integrated Preschool Program. Parents who may have concerns or questions about their child’s development may request a screening by contacting Jan Fuller, Assistant Principal at the Dewing School.

This developmental screening is conducted by a team of child development specialists including an Early Childhood Specialist, Classroom Instructional Aide and Speech Language Pathologist. Parent interviews are conducted by the Special Education Case Manager at the same time that the child is screened. Screening will take place in a small group setting at the Dewing School and usually takes about an hour. Results of the screening are shared informally at the time of screening and in writing soon after screening.
