Tewksbury Residents Excel in College

Dean's lists, honors and graduations.

Christopher Sydell, a resident of Tewksbury, has been named to the Spring 2011 Champlain College's Dean's List for academic achievements. Sydell is majoring in Game Design. Champlain College, a private baccalaureate institution in Burlington, Vt., is a national leader in educating students through its unique program that prepares students for life beyond college with a mix of professional training, academic enrichment and cultural immersion.

Keegan Sheehy, son of John Sheehy and Marie Sheehy of Tewksbury, was named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College's School of Music for the spring 2011 semester. To qualify for this academic honor, students must attain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and complete a minimum of 15 credit hours, of which at least 12 are graded. A grade of D or F or an incomplete in a course automatically disqualifies a student from the dean's list, regardless of the overall GPA attained that semester.

Wilkes University Provost Reynold Verret announces the Dean's List for the Spring 2011 Semester. To be named to the Dean's List, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 GPA and carry at least 12 credits. The university extends its congratulations to Stephanie Wogan, of Tewksbury.

Jeffrey Oberg, a Sophomore, Accounting, of Tewksbury

Brad Tosto, a Sophomore, Finance, of Tewksbury

Stonehill College recently named Tewksbury resident Jenna T. Lozowski, a member of the class of 2014, to its Dean's List for the Spring 2011 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List at Stonehill, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Nicole M. Deshler, of Tewksbury, graduated from the Montserrat College of Art
in Beverly, with a Bachelors of Fine Arts-Illusttration

Danielle L. Remigio of Tewksbury, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western New England College. Remigio graduated Magna Cum Laude, which signifies scholastic excellence and is awarded at graduation to students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.60 and 3.80.
