Tewksbury Students Have 'Trip of a Lifetime' in Journey to Italy

The trip allowed students to view historic sites and enjoy Italian culture as a unique learning experience.

A group of Tewksbury Memorial High School students spent a recent break on a trip to Italy, where they experienced culture in several iconic locations.

Forty-five students and six chaperones used February break to visit the hillside town of Assisi, spend two days in Renaissance Florence, and conclude the journey with three days in Rome.

Among the sightseeing locations for the students were St. Francis’ Basilica (Assisi), the Duomo (Florence), and the Coliseum and the Vatican (Rome).
