TMHS Class President Sheds Hair on Stage, Tells Graduates It's 'Time to Move On'

At Friday's graduation, Class President Jacob Little stunned his classmates during his speech by revealing he cut off his signature locks for a much shorter look.

Students change after they graduate high school in many ways. But Tewksbury Memorial High School Class of 2014 president Jacob Little didn't wait until after the ceremony was over to make his transformation.

While addressing classmates during Friday night's graduation ceremony, Little told his fellow graduates that it was time to move on, while looking back fondly on the memories they made in high school.

"It's time we all move on," said Little, who walked onto the stage with his signature brown hair flowing out from his cap and past his shoulders. "Some of us, in different ways than others."

At that moment, Little removed his cap with a smile, and then removed a wig, revealing that he had gotten a brand new and radically shorter haircut.

Little took the wig and flung it into the crowd of graduates, who sent it flying back and forth among them in the midst of their stunned standing ovation.
