The Red Rangers are headed to the State Tournament in their very first varsity season after dominating Concord-Carlisle, 5-1 on Tuesday. They wrapped up the regular season at 8-7-3.

Sophomore Amanda Conway put an exclamation point on her season with yet another hat trick, giving her 44 goals on the year. 7th Grader Kelly Golini chipped in with two more goals.

Taylor Lirakis turned in an outstanding game in net, making 29 saves.

Boys Basketball

Tewksbury 80, Wilmington 37

Five players scored in double-digits, as the Redmen destroyed Wilmington on Tuesday.

Alex DiRocco led the way with 15 points, Kevin Haley had 13, Kevin Dick and Justin Derrah chipped in with 12 each, while  Xavier Salamon added 11.

Tewksbury ends its regular season at 9-11. The Redmen will now wait to see where they get seede in the Division 2 North Sectional Tournament.
