Sign Up For the Upcoming Tewksbury Police Athletic League Wresting Season

Registration sessions will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tewksbury Police Department in the training room.


Has your child expressed an interest in trying out a new sport? The Tewksbury Police Athletic League is now accepting registration for their upcoming wrestling season. 

Registration sessions will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tewksbury Police Department in the training room.

Cost of registration for kids in grades K-2 is $50 and grades 3-8 is $75 (max cost per family $135).

The first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 13. Participants should wear shorts, t-shirt and wrestling shoes which can be purchased at most sporting goods stores (or sneakers). 

There will be a meeting for parents at this practice to answer any questions you may have.

MVC Wrestling League (5th -8th graders): We will be combining our team with Wilmington Youth Wrestling again this year. We had a very successful season in the MVC league last year. We will be competing again this year in 15 weight classes against competitors from across the Merrimack Valley and NH.

Individual Tournaments: Tewksbury had numerous Tournament champions and place winners from grades K though 8 at the various tournaments that we participated in.

Why should your child wrestle? The sport of wrestling is one of the oldest sports in the world. Wrestling will teach your child discipline and help develop self-confidence and build muscles.

Can my child wrestle and play another winter sport such as basketball/hockey? Yes, we have many wrestlers who play multiple sports.

Please make checks payable to: Tewksbury PAL Wrestling (NO CASH). Team uniforms of shorts and t-shirt are included in registration fee.
