Tewksbury Girls Basketball Preparing for Postseason Run

The Redmen finished the regular season with a 14-5 record.

The Tewksbury Memorial High School girls basketball team has polished off its regular season. But the Redmen are hoping they still have a few more games left to go.

Thanks to a strong campaign, the locals are postseason bound and hoping their stint in last season's playoffs will pay dividends this year.

Overall, Tewksbury was 14-5 this season, with only two setbacks in the last month. The Redmen finished with three straight wins, two against Lawrence and one against Dracut, which helped the team bounce back from a 58-38 defeat on February 6.

In the Merrimack Valley Small School Division, Tewksbury ended with a record of 10-4 behind league champion Chelmsford, which boasts a record of 12-2.

Postseason brackets are expected to be released this weekend, and Tewksbury's playoff run will likely begin next week.
