Tewksbury Baseball School Kicks Off on Monday

The camp runs for four days from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Livingston Street fields.

The boys and girls of summer will be hitting the diamond starting Monday in Tewksbury.

For the 21st consecutive year, Tewksbury Baseball School will begin Monday, running through Thursday daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The camp will teach young players the basics, including hitting, throwing, base running, position play, stretching, strength training and more.

Due to growing enrollment, the camp will take place this year at the Livingston Street Fields at the Pavillion. The cost for players six to fourteen years old is $120 for the week, with a $10 sibling discount.

In addition, Itty Bitty Baseball Camp is offered with very basic beginning skills and fun from 9-11:30 a.m. for four- and five-year-olds. The cost for that camp is $70.

Camp will be led by the Tewksbury Memorial High School baseball coaching staff.

"Over the last 20 summers we have seen over 3,300 young players attend our camp," the program reads. "Many have gone on to become highly successful high school and college baseball players. We as a staff are extremely proud of the job we do at our Summer Camp and look forward to another exciting summer at our new location."
