LOWELL - George A. McLean, age 66, died peacefully at his Lowell home on Wednesday, October 23rd.  He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Cryan) McLean who proceeded him in death in 2011.

George was born in Somerville, March 11, 1947, beloved son of the late Thomas F. and Jean E.  (Maunder) Barry.  He was raised in Wilmington, and had lived most of his adult life in Lowell.

He worked as a commercial contractor for several area companies.

He is survived by two sisters, Marjie Carroll of Hampton, VA, and Susan Hewitt and her husband Dennis of Wilmington; a brother, Paul Barry and his wife Kathy of Lowell; and leaves several nieces and nephews.  He was also brother of the late Nancy Jean Barry.
