Harold L. Hillson, Jr.

…beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather

Louisville, KY – Harold Lewis Hillson, Jr., 86, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Dimmock) Hillson of 62 years.

Born in Boston on December 23, 1928, son of the late Harold L. Sr. and Mary (Clancy) Hillson. He grew up in Wilmington and later moved to Tewksbury where he opened Hillson’s Bicycle Shop in 1955. He owned and operated the bicycle shop for over 60 years until his retirement.

Harold is survived by his beloved wife and four children, daughter Patricia Cash and her husband Bill of Plaistow, NH, son Robert Hillson and his wife Sandra of Billerica, MA, daughter Karen Zamiar and her husband George of Louisville, KY and son Brian Hillson of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Mark Dimmock, Heather Graves, Jonathan Cash, Michael, Christine and Daniel Hillson as well as Zackary and Sarah Zamiar. Harold also had four great grandchildren; Paden, Michael Jr., Meredith and newly arrived Nathan.

The family would like to invite all family and friends to a grave side vigil where Harold’s ashes will be laid to rest along side his parents at the Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington, MA on October 5th at 11:00 am.
