TEWKSBURY - James Robert DeMarco, age 54, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 3, at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, following a lengthy illness.

Jimmy was born in Chelsea, December 14, 1958, one of two children of the late James A. and Joan (Rivard) DeMarco, and had lived in Tewksbury the greater part of his life.  He was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.

He worked with his father operating the James A. DeMarco and Son Trucking company in Tewksbury, and later worked as a metal fabrication machinist for several area companies.

Jimmy was a communicant of St. William’s Church.

He leaves two daughters, Deborah DeMarco and Dawna DeMarco and a sister, Donna DeMarco all of Tewksbury; an uncle, Joseph Rivard of No. Andover; dear friends, Adrienne Inniss of Wilmington, the Rivard family of Billerica, and Sarah Stacy of Tewksbury; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, Nov. 9, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts.
