Rae T. Senibaldi

TEWKSBURY - Rae T. (LaFay) Senibaldi, age 81, a member of the Emerald Court community, died peacefully on Sunday morning, Nov. 3, at Tufts New England Medical Center, with her family at her side.  She was the wife of Lawrence E. “Larry” Senibaldi, with whom she would have celebrated a 54th anniversary on November 25th.

She was born in Everett, August 11, 1932, one of six children of the late Raymond and Anne (Byrne) LaFay, and was raised in Everett.  Upon marriage to Larry, she moved to Stoneham to raise her family.  She retired to Tewksbury five years ago.

She was lovingly remembered for having devoted her life to her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by five children, Richard Sasso of Pelham, NH, Lawrence “Larry” Senibaldi Jr., and his wife Iris (Smalls) of No. Las Vegas, NV, Donna Greelish and her husband James of Woburn, Kenneth Senibaldi and his fiancé Dawn Liddick of Melrose, Dennis Senibaldi and his wife Ann (Giugno) of Windham, NH; seven grandchildren, Sarah Cameron, Joseph Sasso, Nicholas Sasso, Christy Sasso, Matthew Senibaldi, Michael Senibaldi, and Harrison Senibaldi; a great grand daughter, Kendal Sasso; a sister, Dolores Elliott of Tewksbury; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Paul Sasso, her daughter, Mary Sasso, brother Walter LaFay, and her sisters, Sissy Loden, Barbara Melanson, and Mary Riley.

Memorial visiting hours will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts.
