TYSA General Meeting

TYSA will hold it's January General Meeting on:

January 07, 2014, 7 PM

There will be 8 proposals on the Agenda to amend the By-Laws of Tewksbury Youth Skating Association, Incorporated.

Proposals:

(Emphasis is added to proposals for clarification purposes only)

 

Article 1: 

Remove language: Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget.

Add in place of removed language: age 18 and Under Boys and Girls.

Purpose: To diversify  the description of teams and levels offered by TYSA.

 

Article 3.1 (Paragraph 1)

Remove language: Communication and from "Director of Communication and Fundraising".

Purpose:  Communication is now part of the Secretary's duties.

 

Article 3.1 (Paragraph 2)

Remove language: June from "Annual June General Meeting".

Add in place of removed language: April.

Purpose:  To be consistent with a previous amendment concerning elections.

 

Article 3.1 (Paragraph 9)

Add . (Period) after "June general meeting", remove the word when and capitalize letter T "the Board".

Purpose:  To be consistent with a previous amendment concerning elections.

 

Article 3.1 (Paragraph 9)

At the end of paragraph remove the period and add language: at the April general meeting.

Purpose:  To be consistent with a previous amendment concerning elections.

 

Article 4 (Paragraph 1)

At the end of paragraph remove . (Period) and add language:  , except as otherwise noted within these by-laws.

Purpose: To clarify already existing language within the TYSA by-laws.

 

Article 8.6

Remove language: /REGISTRAR from the title of Director "PLAYER AGENT / REGISTRAR".

Purpose:  Registration is now part of the Registrar's duties.

 

Article 8.6 (First Bullet)

Add language: with USA Hockey

Purpose:  To clarify registration duties from the duties of the Registrar.
