Your Guide: Tewksbury Family Picnic and Field Day

Each week, we'll feature one upcoming event in Tewksbury.

Every Thursday, we're going to take a more in depth look at an upcoming event happening in Tewksbury. You can post your event here.

Tewksbury Congregational Church will host the 3rd annual Tewksbury Family Picnic and Field Day on Sunday, September 8th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m at the Livingston Park Complex.

There are lots of fun family activities planned including face painting, crafts, kickball, relay races and a dunk tank in between meeting up with old and new friends, so we hope you’ll join us.

The event will include an opportunity to give to the Tewksbury Food Pantry in a fun way - for $5 come you can try to dunk a town official, church pastor and others in the dunk tank!

Dunk tank volunteers include Pastor Jonathan Goodell of TCC, Selectmen Chair Scott Wilson, Selectman Jim Wentworth and School Committee Member Krissy Polimeno.

Head down and dunk your favorite town leader! All proceeds will go to the Tewksbury Food Pantry.

This is a FREE community event open to everyone! Invite your friends and bring your family out to enjoy a fun Sunday afternoon.

Feel free to bring a picnic lunch for your family, with hotdogs, popcorn and bottles of water provided at no charge (while supplies last).

The raindate for the event is Sept. 15 and you can call (978) 851-9411 with any questions about the event.
