Man Arrested On Seven Warrants; Accident Sends One To Hospital

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests: Paul D. O'Neil, 67, 74 Carnation Drive, Tewksbury, was arrested by Tewksbury Police officers on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 9:19 p.m. on seven outstanding warrants. Incidents: The storm Tuesday night (Sept. 18) caused scattered minor damage throughout the town. Trees were reported down on Whipple Road and Bligh Street. No houses were damaged there were reports of power lines down. On Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 9:54 p.m., a missing person was reported from a Pond Street address. Billerica Police were also notified. A report was filed. No additional information was immediately available. On Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 11:49 p.m. a two-car accident was reported at the intersection of Main and Shawsheen Streets in South Tewksbury. Police and an ambulance…

Accidents And Drug Arrests Highlight Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Three people narrowly escaped injury early Saturday morning when the car they were riding in burst into flames along Route 495. State Police reported the incident, which took place around 4:45 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway, just past Exit 39. According to the report, the car was fully involved by the time officers arrived on the scene. No injuries were reported. The three people who escaped the car were given courtesy transportation to I-HOP. Alert officers prevent possible break-in (Oct. 14) Friday morning, just before noon, two Tewksbury Police officers stopped a man they deemed to be acting suspiciously along Main Street.
