Mr. Albert C. Sutherby, age 79, a G.T.E. retiree, died Monday, February 4, at the Radius Health Care Center in Roxbury, following a long illness. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Kathleen A. (Garvin) Sutherby, who preceded him in death one week ago, on January 27. Albert was born in Boston, October 12, 1933, one of six children of the late Cuthbert and Elizabeth (Sheehan) Sutherby, and was raised in Somerville. After graduating high school, he went on to earn a BSBA from Boston College. He retired from G.T.E.’s Government Services division in 1993, after 22 years of service.
