Anna M. (Walsh) Sheehan, age 89, a well known businesswoman in Tewksbury, died peacefully on New Years Day 2013, at Lowell General’s Saints Campus. She was the wife for 53 years of John C. “Jack” Sheehan, who died in March 2000. She and her husband owned and operated the former Tewksbury Inn for 50 years. Anna was born in Charlestown, April 2, 1923, one of seven children of the late Michael and Mary (Heanue) Walsh. She was raised in Somerville and graduated from St. Clements Elementary and High Schools. She and Jack moved to Tewksbury in 1957, where they were active in the building of St. William’s Parish.
