Reading Man Arraigned on Fraud Charges A Reading resident, and newspaper delivery man in Woburn, is allegedly behind a string of identity fraud, forgery and larceny incidents. He was arraigned in court this week. Additional Funds Appropriated for School Building Project at Special Town Meeting, 525 to 120 Over 600 residents attended Special Town Meeting at North Reading High School Monday night to vote to appropriate $15.5 million in additional funds for the school building project. The auditorium filled quickly and the overflow space in the gymnasium was utilized. Residents used a paper ballot to vote, and the motion passed by more than the required two-thirds, 525 to 120. Tewksbury Police believe they have cracked a recent rash of home burglaries with the arrests of three local residents. William Medugno, 23, of 18 Pringle St, Tewksbury, Ryan Codner, 21, of 34 Cinnamon Cir, Tewksbury, and Catherine Bradley, 22, of 260 Pine Street, Tewksbury were all arrested on March 7 in connection with two burglaries on Pike Street, one on McNeil Way, one on Astle Street and another on Catherwood Road. According to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, Medugno is charged with four counts of breaking and entering, attempted breaking and entering, three counts of larceny over $250, and conspiracy. Police have made two more arrests in their continuing efforts to curb drug trafficking in Tewksbury. According to information provided by Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, officers arrested Eric McDermott, 28, of 19 Jefferson Road, Tewksbury and Brandon Grue, of 78 Liberty St., Danvers, after observing an alleged drug transaction on March 1 in the parking lot of the Mobil On The Run, 1785 Andover St. Grue is charged with trafficking cocaine over 18 grams, distribution of cocaine and conspiracy. McDermott is being charged with possession of cocaine and conspiracy. The men were arraigned in Lowell District Court. Tewksbury Firefighters were on the scene to save a heart attack victim Wednesday night. According to Fire Department reports, dispatch received a call at 6:20 p.m. from a commercial building at 836 North St. regarding a man having a seizure. Firefighters from the North Station were able to respond within one minute and when they arrived on scene, they found that the man was in full cardiac arrest. Firefighters used a defibrillator on the man and by the time he was loaded into the ambulance, his breathing and heartbeat had been restored. The man was transported to Lowell General Saints Campus for further treatment. Such was the case this past weekend as Tewksbury Police made several arrests for domestic assault and battery. Additional arrests: John R.
