Alleged Peeping Tom, Domestic Assault Top Police Log

A concerned neighbor alerted a Pupkis Road woman to a potential danger lurking just outside one of her windows. Tewksbury Police received a call from the woman on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 9:53 p.m. She told them her neighbor had just called and told her there was a man standing near her home just outside one of her windows. According to the police report, the caller said that when the man saw her neighbor looking at him, he started walking into the woods into the direction of Cherry Road. Dispatch sent three units to the scene to check the area. A short time later, an officer spotted the suspect on Hemlock Road. After an investigation he was arrested. Shawn T. B&E Arrest, Fire Damages Barn At Krochmal Farm

Quick response by the Tewksbury Fire Department limited the damage from a fire that broke out in a barn at Krochmal Farms on Tuesday afternoon. The call came in around 3:15 p.m., reporting a working fire inside the barn, located off South Street. Firefighters had to run a hose from South Street but still managed to contain the fire from breaching the walls or roof of the barn, which was not being used to house animals at the time. Damage estimates and a cause of the fire were not immediately known. No injuries were reported. Traffic Stop Leads To Three Arrests On Multiple Drug Charges

What started out as a routine traffic stop near Applebee's ended with the arrest of two men and a woman on multiple drug and motor vehicle charges. A Tewksbury Police officer pulled over the suspect's vehicle, an SUV, just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, due to revoked insurance. The vehicle was driven by Leonardo F. Aponte Jr., 26, of 648 Boston Road, Billerica. A computer check of Aponte found that both his license and registration had also been revoked. He was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license that had been revoked as a Habitual Traffic Offender, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Police Seek Help Tracking Down Hit and Run Driver

Tewksbury Police are asking the public for their assistance in tracking town a truck involved in a property damage hit and run accident on Friday afternoon. A Code Red Alert was sent to residents regarding the accident, which took place at 73 Patten Road, just after 2 p.m. According to the police report, a blue pickup truck towing a yellow wood chipper took out an entire chain link fence along a piece of property. Any residents who can help to identify the vehicle or the driver or who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Tewksbury Police at 978-640-4381. Police Officers Help To Retrieve Cat From ... a House

Tewksbury Police received a call on Monday, Jan. 7 at around 6:30 p.m., from a woman requesting help getting her cat back. According to the police report, the woman said her cat was at her friend's house and that the friend had been taking care of the cat while she'd been out of town. The woman told officers that her friend's son had been calling her and threatening her because the cat had been urinating and leaving feces all over the house. The woman said she wanted to have an officer with her when she went to the home to get her cat back. An officer did accompany her and the cat was retrieved without incident. Arrests: Randy H. Off-Duty Police Officer's Observations Lead to Drug Arrests

A man and woman thought they were out of sight of the prying eyes of law enforcement when they chose the parking lot of the Keri Plaza to park in with drugs in their possession on Friday, Jan. 4 at 5 p.m.. They were mistaken. A keen-eyed, off-duty police officer saw the pair acting suspiciously in a vehicle and reported it to dispatch. Police Forced To Use TASER On Assault Suspect

A woman suspected of assault resisted arrest in such an aggressive manner that Tewksbury Police officers were forced to use a TASER to subdue her. The call came in just after 9 p.m. on Dec. 18. A male caller reported that he had just been assaulted in an apartment on Main Street. Officers responded to the scene and after a brief investigation, attempted to arrest Janice M. Lombardi, 52, 1830 Main St., Apt. 18. According to the police report, Lombardi resisted arrest in such a manner that officers had to administer "2 applications dry stun, 1 taser." Two Manhunts Yield No Arrests For Tewksbury Police

The Tewksbury Police Department found themselves in a rare position this week. Over the past few days, the TPD engaged in a pair of manhunts but in both cases, the suspects managed to slip away. The first incident took place Saturday night at 11:21 p.m., when a cabbie reported that he had dropped off a man on Vale Street. The cabbie told police that the man not only refused to pay his fare but he also threated the cabbie with a knife. The cabie also alleged that the man said he had a .45 revolver in his home and planned to use it.The cabbie said man then hopped into a vehicle and also chased him away from the scene. Girlfriend Allegedly Steals Mom's Jewelry, Smash-N-Grabs Plague Businesses

A Lowell woman was arrested Monday for allegedly trying to steal jewelry belonging to her boyfriend's mother. Kayleigh M. Frost, 26, of 215 Mammoth Road, #1, Lowell, is charged with larceny under $250 and possession of a Class E drug. According to Tewksbury Police records, the incident began Monday afternoon when dispatch received a call from a Bay State Avenue resident regarding a robbery. According to the caller, his girlfriend in the process of stealing his mother's jewelry and leaving the house. Two officers were dispatched to the address and placed Frost under arrest.
