Tewksbury Woman Charged With Threatening Her Kids With A Bat

Ellington Road woman had called police to report problems with her son.

An Ellington Road woman was arraigned on Monday in Lowell District Court, charged with threatening her kids with a baseball bat. Kathy Cho, 44, is charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. She pled not guilty and was released on her own recognizance, according to an article in the Lowell Sun. According to a Tewksbury Police report, Cho called dispatch early Sunday morning to report an altercation between her and her 16-year-old son and said he was trying to break into the house. She had wanted the boy taken to his father's house in Dorchester. Cho had been upset that her son had come home at 3 a.m., according to the article in the Sun. She was further enraged that her 14-year-old daughter let her brother into the house …

Juveniles Taken Into Custody After Report of Possible Explosion

Estranged husband reportedly throws boxes at wife.

Police responded to the vicinity of the former Dollar Store on Route 38, after receiving a call from an employee of Mac's Dairy Farm, who stated that a group of youths had just set off a "Works Bomb" near the vacant building. A "Works Bomb" is commonly made by putting a variety chemicals found in the home into a two-liter soda bottle. According to a police report, officers responded to the scene and three juveniles were taken back to Police Headquarters. No charges were filed. There was no damage reported to the building. Man Allegedly Pushes Woman out of Tractor-Trailer

Car reported stolen, involved in accident on Livingston.

A Lowell man is facing a felony charge after allegedly shoving a woman out of the cab of a tractor-trailer in a parking lot off Route 38. The incident took place Sunday just before 4 p.m. Police received a 911 call from a witness stating that the suspect had shoved the woman out of the truck and onto the ground.The caller said the man was trying to leave the area. Tewksbury Police officers responded to the scene, stopped the truck from leaving and placed Cyle David Georgoulis under arrest. Georgoulis, 24, of 5 Oxford Road in Lowell, is charged with domestic assault and battery. The victim excaped without serious injury. Tewksbury Police Seek Public's Help in Locating Stabbing Suspect, Vehicle

Hispanic male said to be driving a "low-rider."

Tewksbury Police are asking the public for their help in finding the man responsible for a road rage stabbing incident, Wednesday on Industrial Avenue. Dennis Keohane, 26, suffered wounds to his head, arm and back in an altercation with another driver, that began while the two were traveling north on I-93 near Route 125 in Wilmington around 3 p.m. Keohane was treated and released from Leahy Clinic in Burlington. In a press release, Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan said the suspect was described as being a Hispanic male in his early 20's and around 5'9''. He was described as wearing a black Yankees hat and black framed eye glasses. Keohane and his passenger, who were in a red Acura, were also able to provide police with a description …

More Incidents of Children Attacking Mothers

Two more teens facing assault charges stemming from domestic incidents.

Three incidents took place over the course of the last week involving children either allegedly assaulting or threatening their mothers. On Tuesday, just before 9 a.m., police received a 911 call from a female party at 56 River Road, reporting that her daughter had assaulted her and then fled, on foot, with a male. Officers responded to the scene but the victim declined medical attention. Later, according to the report, the father of the girl was going to bring her to Police Headquarters. At Police Headquarters, according to the report, the girl was placed under arrest. Rachel O'Brien, 17, 59 Decarolis Road, was charged with assault and battery.
