Tewksbury Man Indicted For Armed Robbery, Assault

Suspect allegedly stabbed a man while trying to steal several I-Phones.

A 36-year-old Tewksbury man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly trying to steal several I-Phones at knifepoint and stabbing the victim during the robbery. The Office of Middlesex County District Attorney Gerry Leone announced last week that Brian Saber, 36, of 33 Bay State Ave., was indicted by a Grand Jury on charges of armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Saber is due to be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on April 4. According to Wilmington Police reports, the alleged crimes stemmed from a Craig's List sale gone bad. Tewksbury Man Pleads Not Guilty To Kicking, Spitting On Police

Incident began on St. Patrick's Day.

A Tewksbury man is facing multiple charges after allegedly spitting on and kicking police officers who had been called to remove him from a home on Jefferson Road. David Robson, 53, of 14 Jefferson Road, was arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court, charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, according to an article appearing in the Lowell Sun. Robson pled not guilty to the charges and was released on $2,500 cash bail. He is due back in court April 10. New Rash of Car Break-Ins Strikes Tewksbury Neighborhood

Another rash of car break-ins has struck a Tewksbury neighborhood. And this time it appears the thief (or thieves) stole an entire car during their crime spree. According to information provided by the Tewksbury Police Department, residents reported at least nine vehicles at six separate addresses were broken into some time late Thursday night into early Friday morning. Five of those addresses were on either Heidenrich Drive, Wedgewood Road or Harold Place. Those three streets are located very close to each other off Rogers Street near North Billerica Road. A Wedgewood Road resident reported that one of the vehicles in their driveway was stolen and the other was broken into. There was also a resident reporting a vehicle break-in that night…

Tewksbury Schools Briefly In Lockdown During Fugitive Search

All seven Tewksbury public schools were briefly in lockdown Monday morning, as law enforcement officials tracked down a juvenile fugitive. The 15-year-old suspect, who was not identified because of his age, was in the court-ordered custody of a social services counselor when he slipped away during a doctor's visit at Saints Family Health, 1565 Main St. According to Tewksbury Police, five police units were sent to the scene, a K9 unit was requested and the State Police Airwing unit was contacted. In addition, several area police departments were contacted regarding mutual aid. Meanwhile, the Wynn School was placed in lockdown due to its proximity to Saints Family Health. Missing Man Located By Police, Taken To Hospital For Treatment

A missing Tewksbury man, believed to be suicidal, was found by law enforcement officials on Friday. He was then taken to Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus for treatment. The incident began around 11:30 a.m. when the man's father called police and reported that his son had sent text messages to his ex-girlfriend indicating he intended to harm himself. Police began a search for the man in the Patrick Road area. The State Police K9 and Airwing units were called in to aid in the search. In addition, a CodeRed alert was sent out to residents, requesting assistance in locating the man. An alert sent out through the Emergency Alert network indicated the man could be bleeding. Newly Engaged, Woman Loses 1 Ct. Diamond Ring at Stadium Plaza

For one woman, the joy of being newly engaged lasted less than a half-hour. The woman called Tewksbury Police from Stadium Plaza on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 9:51 p.m. She told dispatch that about 25 minutes after her future husband had proposed to her, she lost the engagement ring. She described the ring as being white gold and the stone as being a 1 ct. solitaire, emerald cut. The woman told dispatch that when she told her fiancee, she would try to get the receipt for the ring. With Friends Like These ... A Salem Road resident called Tewksbury Police around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 12 and reported that her male friend had just assaulted her and fled toward Main Street. Three officers responded to the scene. Domestic Assault Arrests Top Latest Tewksbury Police Log

Tewksbury Police responded to multiple reports of assaults and domestic assaults this week. Gerard A Cardarelli, 41, 5109 Archstone Ave., Tewksbury, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 28, and charged with domestic assault and battery. Cardarelli was arraigned in Lowell District Court and held on $1,000 cash bail, according to an article appearing in the Lowell Sun. According to prosecutors, the complaint was filed by a 12-year-old girl who lives with Cardaelli and his girlfriend. The girl told police that Cardarelli and his girlfriend both hit her with coathangers and that Cardarelli slammed her head against a wall, according to the Sun article. Wilmington Man Facing Multiple Charges After Alleged Drunk Driving Crash

Suspect allegedly fled the scene of the accident after rolling his car over on Shawsheen Street.

A Wilmington man is facing a laundry list of charges after allegedly driving drunk and rolling his car over at the intersection of Shawsheen Street and Rockvale Road. Richard A. Decoste, 43, of 2 River St., Wilmington, allegedly fled the scene following the accident and was tracked down in the woods behind a Rockvale Road home, according to the Tewksbury Police report. According to the report, a 911 caller reported the crash at 1190 Shawsheen St. at 1:11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, prompting a full emergency response to the scene. As officers arrived, the suspect was spotted heading into the woods behind 62 Rockvale. The K-9 unit was called to the scene but Decoste was located quickly. Tewksbury Woman Reports Break-in, Assault

Tewksbury Police are hunting for a man who broke into a home on Chandler Street Friday evening, Nov. 9, and assaulted the homeowner. According to a Tewskbury Police report, the woman called police at 6:18 p.m. to report the break-in and assault. She described the man as being around 25 years old, wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt. She also said he had a bad complexion. Several officers responded to the scene. The victim was taken by ambulance to Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus to be treated for her injuries. Break-in on Quail Run A homeowner on Quail Run called police at around 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 8 to report a break-in.
