Boston Man Charged With Assaulting, Injuring Pregnant Woman

Woman was allegedly held against her will at Tewksbury motel.

A 26-year-old Boston man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly holding a pregnant woman against her will in a Tewksbury motel and then beating her when she tried to escape. Mark Silvia, of 39 Boylston St, was arrested after police responded to a 911 call from a guest at the Motel Caswell, reporting a possible domestic assault in the adjacent room. The first officers at the scene found Silvia and a woman in Room 238. According to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, they interviewed the two separately and learned that the woman had been assaulted and was injured. They also learned that the woman was four months pregnant. She was taken Lowell Hospital Saints Campus for treatment of her injuries. According to the Tewksbury …

Tewksbury Man Arrested For Alleged Taxi Driver Assault

Driver was allegedly assaulted after man refused to pay his fare.

A Tewksbury man is facing multiple charges after allegedly ditching a cab fare and assualting the driving last month. Scott J. Peters, 24, of 112 Vale Street, Tewksbury, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife), witness intimidation, and evading a taxi fare. According to Tewksbury Police, a call came in around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 13. The call was from a  cab driver reporting that he was assaulted at knife point at 112 Vale St.  The cabbie said the man he had given a ride from Boston had refused to pay the fare. He also alleged that when he tried to call 911, the man flashed a knife and ordered him to get off the phone. The man then fled on foot. Alleged Drunk Driver Tools Around Ocean State Parking Lot

An alleged drunk driver made her situation considerably worse when she chose not to cooperate with the arresting police officer. According to a Tewksbury Police report, dispatch received a call on Saturday, Oct. 27, reporting a silver Toyota driving around the Ocean State Job Lot parking lot. According to the caller, there were two women in the car and when they stopped to ask a question, it appeared the two were intoxicated. Officers were sent to the scene and the car was pulled over the car at Main Street and Old Main Street. Drug Bust, More Mailbox Vandalism Top Police Log

The keen eyes and instincts of Tewksbury Police officer led to a dug arrest Wednesday morning. The officer was on routine patrol just after 10 a.m. when he spotted a suspicious vehicle lingering near Anton's Cleaners on Shawsheen Street. The officer called for backup and approached the driver of the vehicle. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Nicholas M. Gys, 24, of 180 Holyrood Ave., Lowell, was placed under arrest. He is charged with two counts of possession of a Class E substance, possession of a Class B substance and receiving stolen property in excess of $250. Alleged Drunk Driver Was Carrying a Gun When Arrested

 What began as routine speeding stop turned into more when the driver of the car pulled over by Tewksbury Police was allegedly not only drunk but was also carrying a concealed hand gun. According to Tewksbury Police, the incident began Thursday morning at around 2 a.m., when officers pulled over a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro on Salem Road. Officers made contact with the operator and identified him as Charles Waitt, 22, of 3 Butterworth Road, Wilmington. According to the report, the officers suspected that Waitt was driving drunk and he was asked to step from his vehicle. After doing so, Waitt was asked whether or not he had any weapons on him and he admitted to Officers that he was armed with a firearm. The officers searched Waitt and discovered…

Domestic Assault, Uncontrollable Cough Top Police Log

On Sunday morning (Sept. 30), just after 11 a.m., Tewksbury Police received a 911 call from an Ames Hill Drive resident, reporting that their adult daughter was suffering with an uncontrollable cough. The caller also said their daughter was exhibiting troubling behavior and suggested that she might need hospitalization. Officers responded to the scene and found the young woman to be combative. She was ultimately subdued and placed under arrest. Shekinah Bishop-Sullivan, 24, 1417 Ames Hill Drive was charged with disturbing the peace, threatening to commit a crime and resisting arrest, as well as five outstanding warrants. State and Tewksbury Police Investigating Vicious Assault

Victim suffers serious injuries, taken to Lowell General Hospital.

UPDATED: 9:30 p.m. Tewksbury Police and State Police are investigating a brutal assault Tuesday afternoon that sent one victim to the hospital with serious injuries. According to Deputy Police Chief John Voto, officers were called to Compass Lane around 3 p.m. for a report of a man lying unconscious in a driveway. The man sustained significant serious injuries, which Voto said appeared to be as the result of a beating. The name of the victim and the address police were called to has not yet been released. Investigators remained on scene for several hours, gathering evidence. During this time the road was closed off to car and pedestrian traffic. Waltham Man Makes Bail Then Allegedly Tries To Kill Relatives

Tewksbury Police forced to use stun gun to subdue suspect.

A Waltham man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly breaking into a Blease Drive home early Wednesday morning and attacking family members with a knife. According to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, officers responded to 55 Blease Drive after getting a call reporting that Eathan Becker 25, of 181 College Farm Road, Waltham, had broken into the home via the basement and was engaged in a fight with residents. Officers responding to the address found evidence of the break-in and were informed Becker was armed with a knife. The officers discovered Becker in the living room fighting with two other residents of the home. According to Sheehan, Becker’s hands were covered in blood. Attempted Child Abduction Reported in South Tewksbury

A young girl is home safe after a frightening encounter with a potential kidnapper over the weekend. According to a Tewksbury Police report, Wilmington Police notified them regarding an attempted abduction that took place around Green Street in Tewksbury, near the Wilmington line. According to the report, a 10-year-old girl said that an older man driving a tan Ford Taurus, approached her on the street Friday night. The girl said the man tried to get her to get into his car by telling her that he needed help looking for his lost dog. The girl refused to get into the car and the man drove off. Tewksbury Man Charged With Home Invasion, Beating

A Tewksbury man is facing felony charges after allegedly breaking into a Court Street home Thursday morning and severely beating the man who lived there. Mark N. Donnay, 32, of 8 Michael St., is charged with assault and battery with severe bodily injury and breaking and entering in the daytime with the intent to commit a felony. Just before noon on Thursday, Sept. 6, Tewksbury Police received a 911 call from a Court Street resident. The male caller reported that a man had entered his house and assaulted him. Several officers and an ambulance were sent to the scene. The victim was transported to Saints Medical Center in Lowell for treatment of his injuries. I would have normaly been home at that time of day and YES, I am Certified to carry and yes I do own one as well! Dead men dont talk.
