Woman Arrested For Assault With A Butter Knife

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

On Friday, at around 7:15 a.m., Tewksbury Police received a 911 call from the Marriott Residence Inn reporting that a female had been assaulted with a butter knife. Officers responded to the scene and, after an investigation, arrested Donne Denny, 62, 6250 Wade-Stedman Road, Wade, NC. Denny was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Resident allegedly exposes himself (Sept. 22) Thursday, at around 4:16 p.m., police received a call from a resident of Royal Crest Circle, who reported that her neighbor had exposed himself to her. Officers responded to the scene but the suspect was gone by the time they arrived. According to the police report, the suspect was deemed to be "arrestable" and officers returned to his home …

B&E, Fight Land Billerica Man in Jail

A 21-year-old Billerica man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a pair of vehicles and being involved in a physical altercation on Thursday. Jeremy Beals, of 8 Arakalian Drive, is charged with two counts of breaking and entering into a vehicle with the intent of committing a felony and four counts of larceny under $250. The arrest came Thursday, just after 9 p.m., following several 911 calls reporting a white van with a suspect that had been breaking into a vehicle in the area. Another 911 call came in shortly after, reporting a fight at the intersection of Pond and Saville Streets. UPDATED: Burglary Suspect Linked to Six Breaks in Two Towns

Homeowner calls police after coming face to face with man in her home.

UPDATED 6:30 p.m. Face-to-face with an unwanted visitor in her home, a John Street resident didn't panic, she called 911. As a result, a string of burglaries spanning at least two communities may have been solved. Tewksbury Police arrested Edward James Flynn, 48, of Lowell, shortly after he broke into a home at 161 John Street at around 9:30 a.m. Monday. Officers responded to a 911 call from the homeowner, who gave a detailed description of the man, standing in her home. According to the police report, he was described as being in his 40s, 5-11, wearing eye glasses, a blue baseball cap, a flannel shirt and dungarees. The woman said the man claimed to be in her home to give an estimate on roof repair. He left the residence before police …
