Bill great interview as usual. I don't know if it is proper to say good words about a friend, however, that has never stopped me before. We are on the wrong path on Beacon Hill. School Committee chairwoman throws her support behind incumbent selectman.

To The Editor: I submit this letter to show my strong support for Scott Wilson for his re-election as Selectman for the Town of Tewksbury. I very much appreciate his commitment to the education of our students and to the schools in our town. In all of my discussions with Scott, he has talked about his desire that we continue to strive for excellence as a community. This was apparent as we worked together on helping the High School Building Committee to get the message out about the new Tewksbury Memorial High School.  This resulted in a record number of people coming to Town Meeting and a record number of people voting at the subsequent election. I, Robert Marcin, hereby announce my candidacy for town Selectman. Using my experience with Tewksbury’s town government, I plan to be a voice for those who believe that we as residents should have a say in the decisions that affect our town. I believe in the individual vote and maintaining the structure of our town charter. In addition to my stance on the town voting structure, I aim towards improving taxes on our real estate, water, and sewer. As a resident of Tewksbury for over 30 years, I have made an effort towards being as involved as I can with the town and its residents. I appreciate your stance on keeping the Town Charter as is. How do you improve a tax? Better value, more for your money? If you are a Liberal an improvement would mean increase in taxes if a Conservative it would mean decrease. Quite significant differences. Thank you for running.   more ›
