Question: What's going into the old El Pollo Loco location on Main Street? Answer:Last year, we asked to put on your planner and developer's hat and tell us what business you think should occupy the old El Pollo Loco restaurant. Readers called for Kentuckey Fried Chicken, Panera, Chipotle, Qdoba, Starbucks, Red Robin and Five Guys. It would appear Tewksbury reisdents finally have an answer, although it won't be an eatery occupying this cornerstone of Wamesit Place. The sign in the window of the indicates that a CareWell Urgent Care will be the newest tenant in Wamesit Place. Moratorium Proposed For Medical Marijuana Dispensaries in North Reading On Election Day last year, Massachusetts voters approved a ballot proposal that allows medical marijuana sales in the state, which left cities and towns to set regulations for medical marijuana dispensaries. The Community Planning Commission (CPC) held a workshop Monday night regarding such dispensaries in North Reading. Hess spokesman Dennis Moynihan issued a statement today.
Hess Hess spokesman Dennis Moynihan said Tuesday that reports of closing Hess stores couldn't be further from the truth. "We have absolutely no plans to close any of our stores," said Moynihan in a statement. "We want all of our guests to know it's business as usual at all of our retail stores," he added. "Our commitment to competitive prices and customer services – it will not change. The brand is strong, and it will live long into the future." Moynihan said there are a lot of people interested in that Hess toy truck program, and that will certainly not be going anywhere.

Music, singing and maybe even a little dancing are returning to 1866 Main St. At its meeting on Tuesday, the Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to grant an entertainment license to Angelina's Italian Ristorante. Angelina's opened last year in the same space that once was home to The Black Olive, a restaurant that also featured live entertainment. Appearing before the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday, Angelina's owner Sue Amato said the type of entertainment the restaurant will offer won't result in any rowdy crowds.
