A note of thanks is extended to all those who patronized the Senior Center Breakfast Benefit this past Sunday and to those volunteered their services for the event. The next Sunday Breakfast will be held on April 14th. The Friends and Seniors will hold an Annual Corned Beef Dinner and Dance this Friday, March 8th. One may drop by the Center or call 978-640-4480 to see if there are any tickets still available. Tickets are $15 per person and include a corned beef dinner served at 6:00 PM followed by dancing to the sounds of the Perfect Match Band. Senior Center To Host A 'Cootie' Party

Carnation Belles to hold 9th Anniversary party Jan. 24.

The Red Hat Craft Activity which was canceled last week due to inclement weather has been rescheduled for this Thursday, January 24th at 2:00 PM. Also, tickets are now available for the Red Hat 9th Anniversary Dinner that will be held on Wednesday, February 20th. The cost is $30 per Belle and includes a family style dinner with the main course being Sirloin and Chicken Francese. Entertainment will follow the meal. The last day to purchase a ticket will be Thursday, February 14th. As previously noted several meetings have been scheduled for this Friday, January 25th. Carnation Belles Planning 8th Anniversary Dinner

Valentine's Dance is scheduled for Feb. 10.

DJ Jon Mansfield will be at the Senior Center this coming Monday, January 30th, for an afternoon dance. One may still obtain a ticket at the door after 12:00 noon. However, lunch will not be available to those who purchase a ticket at the door. The Friends and COA are looking for those special Tewksbury couples who have been married 50 or 50+ years but never been guests at a Senior Center Valentine Dance. If you are such a couple or know of one, please jot the information down on a piece of paper and drop it off or mail it to the Director at the Senior Center. Hot Time At The Senior Center This Summer

Carnation Belles plan to celebrate a year's worth of holidays in one night.

The Silver Tones Band will hold its monthly dance this Friday, June 17th, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door at $10.  Tickets for the July 7th Foxwood day trip went on sale this past Monday. To find out if there are any openings left, one may drop by the Tewksbury Senior Center or call 978-640-4480. The trip cost is $21 per person.  Dr. Timothy Smith will hold a podiatry clinic at the Senior Center on Saturday, June 25th. Space is still available. This clinic is limited to 30 Tewksbury Senior Citizens. A co-payment is due upon registration for the clinic.  On this same day, Saturday, June 25th, the Seniors will hold a Giant Yard Sale from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Dances and Getaways On Tap For Seniors

TRips to Hampton Beach and Foxwoods are planned.

The Friends of the Elderly will hold its monthly dance at the Senior Center this Friday, June 10th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Music will be provided by the Entertainer’s Band. Tickets are available at the door at $10. Tickets for the July 7th Foxwood trip will go on sale this coming Monday June 13th beginning at 8:15 AM. The trip cost is $21 per person. A Cootie Party will be held in the afternoon on Monday, June 13th beginning at 12:45 PM. Don’t know how to play? Just come on down and the group will be more than pleased to show you how. Senior Citizens Have Numerous Trips Planned

Town to plant a rain garden outside the Senior Center.

The Town will be planting a “rain garden” at the Senior Center this Friday, May 27th.  Anyone wishing to help in this planting project should be at the Senior Center at 9:30 AM.  Those people helping with the Senior Citizen’s Parade Float should note that float decorating will take place on Friday, May 27th at Dennis Sheehan’s garage at 9:00 AM.  One may pick-up his/her shirts on Thursday, May 26th. ACTORS, inc. will be present “THE PORCH” at a dinner theatre on June 3rd and 4th at 6:00 PM as well as a matinee on June 4th at 12:00 Noon.  These productions shall take place at UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center, 50 Warren Street, Lowell.  Native born and internationally known playwright, Jack Neary, is directing the play which is said to …
