Rise and Shine Morning Glory Bread

This bread tastes so good that it's hard to believe it is so easy to make.

"What's the story, Morning Glory? Need a little time to wake up wake up." -- Oasis (Morning Glory lyrics) Around Christmastime a coworker of mine brought in an amazing homemade bread to share with us. It was sweet and dense and had carrots in it, so I knew it was super good for me. Right. Well, it was so delicious that I had two pieces (ok, maybe three). So when it came time to make something for a day with the ladies I thought this would be just the thing. I'm bringing it today-hopefully the loaf will make it out of my kitchen. Honestly, a real chef needs three knives, a slicer, a chopper, and a parer, to do just about any job needed in the kitchen. So why all the gadgets? First of all, most people aren't real chefs. Secondly, most people ARE gullible. If you think its bad at home, you should see the crazy inventions the restaurant industry throws at us every day. Save time, save labor, lower insurance premiums with less accidents, easy to clean, no drips, no waste, eliminate …

HAHAHA!!! I love this article. I'm always interested to hear from real people how their "as seen on T.V." items and gadgets work and their thoughts in purchasing them. I'm also interested in the economics behind such things and what ideas sell. I have never bought any of these things, but I did receive a "Set it and Forget it" one year for Christmas. Though it's not something I would have bought …   more ›
