Domestic Assault And Folks Who Shouldn't Have Been Driving

A keen-eyed good Samaritan alerted Tewksbury Police to an alleged domestic violence incident over the weekend. Police received the call around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28. The caller said they had witnessed a man assault a woman in the parking lot of Main Street Liquors, 391 Main St. According to the caller, the man and woman were inside a vehicle with Massachusetts license plates and provided the plate number to dispatch. Five units responded to the scene and after an investigation, arrested Michael Fitzpatrick, 42, 53 Trull Brook Lane, Tewksbury, and charged him with assault and battery. Simple Traffic Stop Leads To Multiple Charges

When a Tewksbury Police officer pulled over Jeremy Gleaton early Saturday morning, it seemed like a simple license plate violation. What was found inside the car resulted in Gleaton's arrest. The officer pulled Gleaton over at the intersection of Livingston and Kendall just before 3 a.m. on Nov. 19. A glance inside the vehicle gave the officer cause to search the vehicle. During the course of the search, the officer found alcohol, marijuana and illegal fireworks. Gleaton was also found to be in carrying an unspecified weapon. Tewksbury Man Facing Assault and Battery, Other Charges

A Tewksbury man is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting an acquaintance over the weekend. Erik Nickerson, 28, of 101 McLaren Road, was arrested Sunday afternoon at his home. According to a Tewksbury Police report, the incident began around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 16 with a call from a Tewksbury resident. The woman said she had come home to find her daughter crying. According to the woman, the daughter said that Nickerson had assaulted her. Multiple units responded to the scene and one unit went to Nickerson at his home. After an investigation, Nickerson was arrested. 11-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Assaulting Mother

Disabled motor vehicle leads to warrant arrest.

In the latest example of a disturbing (and growing) trend of children attacking their parents, an 11-year-old Tewksbury girl was arrested after allegedly attacking her mother and cousin. The suspect, whose name and address are not being published because she is a juvenile, is being charged with assault and battery. The incident began Sunday, just after 10:30 p.m.when a woman called 911, reporting that her daughter had said she had been chatting online with another juvenile female who claimed to have been drinking all night. An officer reported to the address of the second juvenile female and spoke to all of the individuals involved and determined that the second juvenile female had not, in fact, been drinking.
