Indecent Exposure, Domestic Assault Top Latest Police Log

On April 18, a woman and her granddaughter came into Police Headquarters just after 6 p.m. to report that the younger woman had allegedly been assaulted and choked by her boyfriend. An officer interviewed the victim and photos were taken of her injuries. Officers went to the residence where the suspect had been staying, but he was not there. Officers will continue to do checks and look for the man. Woman Reports Paving Scam on Rogers Street On Thursday, April 19, a Rogers Street woman called police to report that two men in their 30s had just driven by and asked if she wanted her driveway re-paved. Domestic Assault, Phone Scam Top Latest Police Log

Tewksbury Police officers and an ambulance crew responded to a home on McLaren Road on April 5 after dispatch received a call regarding a domestic assault with injuries. Fortunately, the injuries were less severe than originally thought and the victim refused transport to the hospital. However, Erik Nickerson, 29, 101 McLaren Road, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Arrests: Justin Mercer, 31, 9B Sharon St., Tewksbury, was arrested on April 5 on a warrant. Alvin Anderson, 33, 82 Ash St., Nashua, NH, was arrested on April 3 on a warrant. Assault Suspect Escapes With Mom

Tewksbury Police are seeking a suspect involved in an altercation at the Motel 6 early Wednesday (Jan. 4) morning. According to the police report, a clerk from the motel called police around 4:30 a.m. to report a possible fight outside one of the rooms. Four units responded to the scene and located the victim, who had suffered a laceration on his finger. Police were told that the suspect had escaped, with his mother, in a blue Toyota Camry. The vehicle was last scene travelling south on Main Street in the direction of Wilmington. The victim was treated at the scene for his injury. Stoneham Man Charged With Attacking Girlfriend With a Switchblade

A Stoneham man is facing numerous charges after allegedly attacking his girlfriend with a knife and then stealing her car. William C. Stella, III, 32, 294 West Wyoming Ave. Stoneham, was arrested Saturday (Dec. 10) around 2:30 a.m. at the Shell Station on the corner of Main and Chandler Streets. He is charged with assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, use of a motor vehicle without permission, intimidating a witness, wanton destruction of property with a value greater than $250, carrying a dangerous weapon and operating a motor vehicle after his license had been revoked. A New Hampshire man is facing felony charges after allegedly assaulting an adult family member at a Mystic Avenue residence. Michael T. Granese, 60, 23 Emerson Drive, Fremont, NH, was arrested at the residence Friday (Nov. 18) morning and charged with assault and battery. Tewksbury Police had received a call from a woman who said she had just left the residence and that a man she identified as Granese had pushed her and grabbed her neck. Police encouraged the woman to come into Police Headquarters, which she did. After interviewing the woman, officers were sent to Mystic Avenue to arrest Granese. Two Arrested On Domestic Assault Charges

Two people were arrested in domestic assault incidents over the course of what was an otherwise quiet weekend for the Tewksbury Police Department. On Sunday, Nov. 6, around 8 p.m., police received a call from a Main St. address. According to the police log, there were four calls from that address in the span of two days. Officers responded and arrested Shannon C. Hebert, 28, of 1352 Main St. She was charged with assault and battery. Earlier in the day Sunday, at around 1:30 p.m., police received a call from a front desk clerk at Motel 6. She said a female guest had called her and asked for help from the police because a man was not letting her leave the motel room. Monday, around 8 p.m., Tewksbury Police received a call from a Whipple Road residence asking that an intoxicated male be removed. Officers responded to the scene and, after a brief investigation, arrested John Ryder, 34, 1153 Whipple Road. He was charged with domestic assault and battery and defacing property. Tewksbury man arrested in connection with Quincy burglary.

A Billerica man is facing allegations that he assaulted his elderly father. Police responded to a call from a resident who said he had just been assaulted by his adult son. The alleged victim told officers that the man had just left in a gray Nissan SUV. Tewksbury officers called Billerica Police and informed them of the situation. Man Allegedly Pushes Woman out of Tractor-Trailer

Car reported stolen, involved in accident on Livingston.

A Lowell man is facing a felony charge after allegedly shoving a woman out of the cab of a tractor-trailer in a parking lot off Route 38. The incident took place Sunday just before 4 p.m. Police received a 911 call from a witness stating that the suspect had shoved the woman out of the truck and onto the ground.The caller said the man was trying to leave the area. Tewksbury Police officers responded to the scene, stopped the truck from leaving and placed Cyle David Georgoulis under arrest. A Lowell man faces assault and battery charges after an incident in a Tewksbury motel. John M. Gavin, 45, of 94 Rock St. Apt. 3, was arrested after the desk clerk at Motel Caswell on Main Street, called 911 early just after 1 a.m. Thursday to report a possible fight going on in one of the rooms. Three Tewksbury Police units responded to the motel, investigated and placed Gavin into custody.
