Couples married at least 50 years to be honored at Valentine's Dance.
A Senior Center Cootie Party will be next Monday, February 4th at 12:30 PM. This is a fun game day and everyone is invited to attend. Don't know how to play...come on down and we'll teach you. Next Monday, February 4th, is also the Upscale Consignment Boutique's “Intake of Items Day”. The Shoppe is now holding intake hours from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. This is a good time to stop and check out the new items that are placed in the shop. There are still several seats available for the casino day trip to Foxwood on Wednesday, February 6th. One should note that the trip price is now $25 per person; and that departure time is 7:00 AM sharp next Wednesday. The next casino trip will be a visit to the Mohegan Sun on Thursday, March 7th. Keep up on the latest activities at the Tewksbury Senior Center.
The Men's Group will meet this Thursday, December 27th at 9:00 AM. All 60+ men are welcome. A special note of thanks is extended to the Swinging Senior Chorus for the fun and lively Christmas Concert performance of this past Friday. Everyone had a grand olde time and left with much holiday cheer. Those attending the New Years Eve Party at the Senior Center are reminded that dinner will be served at 7:00 PM. TRips to Hampton Beach and Foxwoods are planned.
The Friends of the Elderly will hold its monthly dance at the Senior Center this Friday, June 10th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Music will be provided by the Entertainer’s Band. Tickets are available at the door at $10. Tickets for the July 7th Foxwood trip will go on sale this coming Monday June 13th beginning at 8:15 AM. The trip cost is $21 per person. A Cootie Party will be held in the afternoon on Monday, June 13th beginning at 12:45 PM. Don’t know how to play? Just come on down and the group will be more than pleased to show you how. This is an enjoyable afternoon filled with many laughs. The Golden Age Club will hold its monthly meeting at the Senior Center next Tuesday, June 14th beginning at 12:30 PM. The Town will be planting a “rain garden” at the Senior Center this Friday, May 27th. Anyone wishing to help in this planting project should be at the Senior Center at 9:30 AM. Those people helping with the Senior Citizen’s Parade Float should note that float decorating will take place on Friday, May 27th at Dennis Sheehan’s garage at 9:00 AM. One may pick-up his/her shirts on Thursday, May 26th. ACTORS, inc. will be present “THE PORCH” at a dinner theatre on June 3rd and 4th at 6:00 PM as well as a matinee on June 4th at 12:00 Noon. These productions shall take place at UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center, 50 Warren Street, Lowell.
