Francis F. "Bud" Cobb, Jr. age 81, a Tewksbury resident for 52 years, formerly of Medford, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital- Saints Medical Center Campus on Sunday, January 20, 2013. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Edith "Sylvia" (Breeden) Cobb. Born in Dexter, Maine on November 4, 1931, he was the son of the late Francis F. Cobb and the late Phyllis (Warden) Cobb. Bud was raised in Dexter, Maine, attended Dexter schools and graduated from Dexter High School. In 1953, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his active duty service. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver by the J.G. MacLellan …
