Gas Main Leak, Dogs Both Lost and Found, Top Police Log

Water main work being done on East Street was delayed on Monday when a Tewksbury Police Officer working the traffic detail on the project reported a gas leak just after 10 a.m. Emergency response units were quickly at the scene and National Grid was notified. Once National Grid crews arrived they too control of the situation, identified and repaired the leak. It was not immediately known what caused the leak. Dogs both lost and found At 1:11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, a woman walked into Police Headquarters to report a missing dog. The dog, which is half Labrador Retriever and half Rhodesian Ridgeback, is missing from a home on Grey road in Billerica. Grey Road is located near Tewksbury's Patten Road.
