Kelley Indicted By A Federal Grand Jury On Bank Robbery Charges

Tewksbury man allegedly held up financial institutions in Tewksbury and Woburn.

A Tewksbury man has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury this week for allegedly robbing financial institutions in Tewksbury an d Woburn. Kenneth Kelley, 33, of 45 Highland Ave., faces one count of robbery of a credit union and one count of robbery of a bank. _Kelley was arrested on Oct. 28_ in connection _the robbery of the RTN Federal Credit Union in Tewksbury on Sept. 16._ He was also charged with robbing the Winchester Savings Bank in Woburn on Wednesday, Oct. 26. There was no weapon used in either robbery. Kelley allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money, took the money given and walked out. He got away with $1,300 from the _RTN Credit Union._ He walked out with over $7,000 from Winchester Savings Bank. Police were able to …

Tewksbury Man Indicted On Charges Of Blackmail, Child Rape

Defendant allegedly tricked victims into posing for nude photos.

A Tewksbury man accused of blackmailing young girls into engaging in sex acts was indicted Tuesday by a Middlesex County Grand Jury on multiple felony counts. According to Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone, _Thomas Hutchinson, 19, of Tewksbury, was indicted on charges of rape of a child by force_, assault to rape a child, child enticement, attempted extortion, indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, possession of child pornography, and posing a child in states of nudity and sexual conduct. An arraignment date has not yet been set.  Prosecutors allege Hutchinson went on the website myyearbook.com in early 2011, posing as a girl named "Brittany." Ferreira Officially Indicted On Murder Charge In McCabe Slaying

Judge ruled he could be charged as an adult, despite being 15 at the time of the killing.

A Middlesex County Grand Jury has indicted a third man in connection with the 1969 murder of Tewksbury teen Johnny McCabe. According to District Attorney Gerald Leone, Michael Ferreira, 57, of Salem, NH, was indicted on one count of first degree murder. He will be arraigned in Lowell Superior Court, but a date has not yet been set. Ferreira was 15 years old when he, Walter Shelley and Edward Brown allegedly, all Tewksbury residents at the time, kidnapped McCabe as he walked home from a dance at the Knights of Columbus on a September night in 1969. According to investigators, Ferriera and Brown beat McCabe, a Tewksbury High student in the back seat of the car while Shelley drove to a vacant lot in Lowell. The trio allegedly bound and gagged…
