Firefighters Save Man's Life, Woman Reports Meat Sold From Pickup

Tewksbury Firefighters were on the scene to save a heart attack victim Wednesday night. According to Fire Department reports, dispatch received a call at 6:20 p.m. from a commercial building at 836 North St. regarding a man having a seizure. Firefighters from the North Station were able to respond within one minute and when they arrived on scene, they found that the man was in full cardiac arrest. Firefighters used a defibrillator on the man and by the time he was loaded into the ambulance, his breathing and heartbeat had been restored. The man was transported to Lowell General Saints Campus for further treatment.
