PHOTOS: Tewksbury's Community Safe Halloween

Despite a one-week delay, hundreds of children turned out to participate.

The Police Department was on hand with vehicles and a K-9 demonstration, as was the Fire Department and DPW. The National Guard also made an appearance. The event was organized by a committee led by Tewksbury Safety Officer Jennie Welch. There were games and activities for the kids and, of course, no shortage of creative costumes. Editor Bill Gilman was on hand and captured these images.
