To the Editor: I am writing in support of Patricia Meuse for re-election to the Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School Committee. She has represented Tewksbury in this position for the past 18 years and has realized many accomplishments during that time. One example would be her work as Chair of the Curriculum Subcommittee where Shawsheen’s MCAS scores were of the highest in the state for student improvement. Ninety-eight percent of the students graduate within four years. I have known Patricia for over 20 years. Our children have grown up together and we have collaborated on many projects. In addition to her leadership in the school committee work, she has partnered with me to run many church events through the Catholic …

Dear Tewksbury Voters, As we look at all the candidates this election season, there is one that stands out for the office she is vying for. Krissy Polimeno has clearly demonstrated that she deserves another 3 years as a School Committee member. In her first term, she was instrumental with the transition of a new superintendent, business manager and most importantly our new Tewksbury Memorial High School. The elevation to Chairperson in her second year speaks volumes of the respect she so quickly garnered from her peers for not only her strong stance on issues she believes in, but also her openness to hear out all the issues. After many months of negotiations, her chair oversaw a 3 year contract with the teachers union ending the …

To the Editor: I have had the opportunity to work with Jim Wentworth on a number of matters beneficial to our town, none more important than our campaign to approve the new Tewksbury Memorial High School. As a key member of the high school campaign Jim proved to be a strong and effective leader, he demonstrated all the qualities you would want in a person you entrust to lead our town. Jim Wentworth is a consummate professional, extremely bright, passionate and committed to doing what’s best for Tewksbury. I know him to be a person of the utmost honesty and integrity. I have no doubt that Jim Wentworth will be a great Selectman. Please join me in voting for Jim Wentworth for Selectman on April 6th. Thank you very much. Jamey Cutelis…

To the Editor: I am pleased to support Todd Johnson’s candidacy for re-election to the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen. As a former legislative aide, I have paid close attention to how Todd carries out his responsibilities as a Selectman. I strongly believe that he has the experience, common sense and talent necessary to represent all the constituencies in our town as he approaches decisions that challenge the Board of Selectmen. In particular, I have observed Todd’s demeanor and ability to bring people together to compromise on sensitive issues. He is a clear thinker, straight talker and effective problem solver. During Todd’s time as Chair of the Finance Committee, he became intimately familiar with the budget needs, issues, and …

To the Editor: The purpose of this letter is to support one of the finest public servants that we have witnessed in our time in the Town of Tewksbury. Honesty, integrity, work-ethic, commitment, and dedication are the best words to describe Krissy Polimeno. Krissy has gone above and beyond the call of duty during her tenure on the Tewksbury School Committee. Last year, Krissy led a small group of hard-working individuals to organize the Town-Wide Auction event. This was perhaps the most successful fundraiser in the history of our town and all of our schools benefitted. This event is just one major example of the quality of leadership that Krissy has shown as well as her ability to think “outside the box”. Another reason to support …

To the Editor: Jim is a friend of mine and as selectman I trust him to lead Tewksbury in the right directions. Tewksbury is a small town that cannot afford to make mistakes. Jim will act accordingly ensuring that it never happens. Jim Wentworth will operate boldly, while exercising care and caution. He loves his family, community, and working with young people. He is a good and decent man treating everyone with equal respect. We served on a Town Manager Screening Committee together and our task was to provide three candidates for the Board of Selectmen to choose from. One of the three names presented to the Board was Richard Montuori. Richard Montuori became the selectmen’s final choice. Wentworth played a key role on the screening …

To the Editor: I am writing this letter in support of Jim Wentworth and his campaign for a seat on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen. I have known Jim for many years and what I like best about him is his enthusiasm and commitment to challenges. He has embraced our town, becoming involved in a variety of issues. Jim has constantly demonstrated an interest in meeting with people from a variety of perspectives and an ability to communicate his own thoughts and approaches. This was prevalent through his work with the new high school project as an extremely active participant in the new Tewksbury High School Community Outreach Team. He demonstrates strong leadership skills, coupled with common sense and integrity. These assets have served him …

To The Editor: As a long time resident of Tewksbury, I would like to invite you to join my husband and me in supporting Lisa Puccia for School Committee. I have known Lisa for over 10 years and not only is she a great friend, loving and devoted wife and mother, but an involved parent. For 9 years I had the pleasure of working side by side with her as a co-chair of the Tewksbury Special Education Parent Advisory Council (TSEPAC). Having worked with Lisa on different initiatives through this organization, I can attest to her commitment, sincerity, and results oriented approach. Lisa was instrumental in establishing the TSEPAC as a non-profit organization so that it could hold its own fundraisers to raise funding without impacting the …
