2013 Tewksbury Municipal Election

Election Notebook: The Results Are In And We Have The Winners

We'll be updating this article throughout the afternoon and evening, with information regarding today's voting. We will have final results shortly after the polls close.

Good afternoon Tewksbury and welcome to our continuing coverage of the 2013 Tewksbury Municipal Election. We are 5 hours away from the polls closing. What do we know so far? Well, we're pretty sure that the sign holders are outnumbering the voters. Turnout has been extremely light -- disappointingly so, given that at least one new person will be added to the school committee and at least one new person will be added o the Board of Selectmen. There are also contested races for the Board of Health and Shawsheen Tech School Com. As of 1 p.m., the total of number voters, by ward, were as follows: 1 -- 198 1A -- 205 2 -- 174 2A -- 167 3 -- 178 3A -- 189 4 -- 163 4A -- 243 For the record, as of November 2012 there were 21,514 registered voters …

State representative will be at the library and the Senior Center.

State Rep. James Miceli will also be holding office hours for the Town of Tewksbury, Tuesday, June 12 from 9:30-11:00am at the Tewksbury Senior Center and also from 6:30-8:00pm at the Tewksbury Public Library.
