Thursday is Thanksgiving, and that means the following days will be devoted to shopping. Black Friday is Nov. 23, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 24. For some, that means rushing to the malls and big box stores to stand in line for bargains. But for many, it also means looking for local, small business shopping opportunities. The big companies have their deals advertised all over the place, but we want to give local businesses a chance to get the word out. Do you run a Tewksbury business? What deals are you offering this Friday and Saturday to boost traffic in your store? Leave a comment and let everyone know. You can also upload photos of your store and/or merchandise to this post.

After a brief hiatus, the "Where Is It?" game has returned to its familiar Sunday night slot.
We're back. After a brief time away, the "Where Is It?" mystery photo contest has returned. And, by popular demand, it is back in its familiar Sunday night slot. We would have been back sooner but we had to dot some "i's" and cross some "t's" relative to the contest rules. That said, take a look at this week's photo and see if you can identify the location. Email your guesses to tewksbury@patch.com no later than 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27. One name will be chosen from among the correct answers to receive a newly created, limited edition (ok, so maybe not so limited) Patch T-Shirt. Complete Patch Contest Rules can be found by clicking here. Now, this week's photo might be tricky but we've given you a clue so good luck!

Business owners are encouraged to claim listings in Patch Places to better promote their business and inform Tewksbury readers.
When Tewksbury Patch launched, editors and freelancers ventured to local businesses in order to collect information for our directory. Now, Patch places is a spot where users can find descriptions, hours, accepted payment methods, and much more for spots around town. All users can add events taking place at local spots, can rate the business on a scale of one to five stars, and can add a review. But owners of local businesses get extra bonuses when they claim a listing. Owners or managers should search for their business listing and select "claim you listing" in order to make updates to the page. A form will pop up asking for your name, contact information, and proof of ownership. Within a few days, someone from Patch should contact you to…
