Red Hat Society planning pot-luck supper.
The Friends of the Elderly will hold its monthly dance this Friday, May 4th from 7-10 PM. Tickets may be obtained at the door at $10 per person. Entertainment is being provided by the Perfect Match Band. A Senior Center Breakfast Benefit will be held this Sunday, May 6th from 7:30 to 11:00 AM. Proceeds from this breakfast will benefit GAC High School Scholarships. Tickets are available at the door at the following prices: Adults $6; Kids 12 and under $3; and, Toddlers free. Saturday, May 5: This is the last day to sign up for the Run / Walk 5K for THE FARM and to purchase entries for the 2nd Annual Golf Ball Drop, also to benefit T.H.E. Farm. Both events will be going on May 5. The Road Race will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the Golf Ball Drop will take place at roughly 10:30 a.m. The top prize in the golf ball drop is $1500. Health and Wellness Fair is coming up in May.
The Silver Tones band will hold its regular monthly dance at the Senior Center this Friday, April 20th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are available at the door at $10 per person. The dress code is casual and the evening is sure to provide a pleasant night of music and dancing. A Senior Center Volunteer event will be held on Sunday, April 22nd at 2:00 PM. The agenda for the event is a one-act play by theater and TV star, Richard Clark, who will be doing a portrayal of John Barrymore. Refreshments will be served after the play. Senior Center volunteers are asked to sign-up and obtain a ticket by this Thursday, April 19th.
