UPDATED: Miano, Marcin File Papers For Selectmen's Race

Sullivan takes out papers at 11th hour to challenge Reed for Planning Board seat.

UPDATED: Feb. 24, 4:02 p.m. With the deadline nearing to file nomination papers, things are changing rapidly and getting very interesting with the Tewksbury Municipal Election. Two more races have officially become contested and two more may be right around the corner. Ken Miano and Robert Marcin have each returned nomination papers this week to officially launch campaigns for seats on the Board of Selectmen. They will be challenging incumbents David Gay and Scott Wilson. Ed Sullivan, who ran unsuccessfully for selectman in 2011, took out papers again this year. However, earlier today, Sullivan took out a second set of nomination papers -- this time for a seat on the Planning Board. The move appears to indicate that Sullivan has shifted …

2012 Annual Town Census Is Underway In Tewksbury

Local census helps to keep up-to-date information and makes sure the town is receiving its fair share of state aid.

(Editor's note: The following information was submitted by the office of the Town Clerk.) Town Clerk Denise Graffeo, would like to remind residents about the importance of returning the Annual Town Census form to the Town Clerk’s Office, as soon as possible. Graffeo explains that a prompt and accurate census is very important.

Lot's of corruption, in the past, never a New idea other than Raise taxes...Building still going on when tons of places empty. I believe the new town manager and town clerk are much better than what we had, but in my opiion after living here 50 + years is it's gone down hill quite a bit!!!!   more ›
