Sears: LaRouche's Derogatory Obama Sign 'Inappropriate,' 'Illegal' (POLL)

Selectman and his wife took sign from LaRouchePAC workers and took it to Police Headquarters.

Selectman Doug Sears said he has no regrets over helping his wife remove a large poster featuring a likeness of President Barack Obama with a "Hitler mustache" from off a utility pole near Bank of America on Thursday, Feb. 2. Sears said he could see the poster as he drove along East Street, approaching Main Street but had no intention of removing it. His wife had other ideas. According to Sears, as his car sat idling at a stop sign, Suzanne Sears got out and headed over to where a member of LaRouchePac, the political action committee of former controversial presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche, had set up a small informational table along the sidewalk near Bank of America. But it was the large poster of Obama that was Ms. Sears target. …

This near exact event happened to my wife and I today, when we went to our local post office in Beaumont, CA. On the sidewalk was an older woman with a table set up and the picture of Pres Obama depicted like Hitler attached to it. She had her propaganda ready for distribution. Battle Over Political Sign Ends At Police Station

A battle over political signs involving the Lyndon LaRouche organization made its way to the Tewksbury Police Station this week. The battle began on Wednesday (Feb. 1) at 4:28 p.m., when dispatch received a call from a woman who said there was a man outside the TD Bank at 995 Main St. with a sign that depicted President Barack Obama with a "Hitler mustache." The caller said the man was posting the sign on a telephone pole. An officer was sent to the scene, but the involved people, and the sign, were gone on arrival. Round two took place Thursday (Feb. 2) just before 11 a.m. A man from the LaRouche Committee called dispatch and reported that he was in front of Bank of America, 986 Main St., and that a woman had pulled up in a car and had …
