Tewksbury Voters: My name is Todd Johnson. I have been honored to serve you as a selectman for the past six years. During those two terms, I was selected by my colleagues to serve as their chairman four consecutive years. I believe that is a reflection of their confidence in my leadership abilities. I assumed my duties during the difficult economic times we have come to know as the “Great Recession”. Due to resignations of various colleagues, there was a time when you were served by only three selectmen, not the usual five. I, along with two colleagues, worked hard to ensure all of our duties were discharged on your …

To The Editor: David Gay and I disagree on just about all county, state, and federal elections and issues. We watch different news channels and have opposite ideas of the perfect world. David and I do, however, agree on what is best for Tewksbury. I stand with him on his sensible approach to sending the town charter to the voters. I am a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and have been for ten years. I have worked with David on managed growth and not being held hostage by developers and 40B. I am also an elected member of the Housing Authority and have witnessed David’s support for working and retired Tewksbury residents as a priority of affordable housing. He is against the “gimmie girls” and freebees for others. David and I …

It's looking like a four-man (at least) battle is brewing in the race for two seats on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen. Chris Castiglione has pulled papers for a three-year seat on the Library Board of Trustees. Incumbents Patricia Pino and Paul Fortunato are up for re-election but neither has pulled papers as yet. The School Committee race remains uncontested, as incumbent Dennis Francis and challenger Jamey Cutelis, chairman of the High School …
