Red Hat Anniversary dance to take place Feb. 20.
The next casino trip will be a visit to the Mohegan Sun on Thursday, March 7th. Tickets go on sale next Monday, February 11th at 8:15 AM. The Friends Senior Center Valentine's Dance will be held this Friday, February 8th. The Entertainers Band will provide music for the evening. Tickets will be available at the door at $10 per person. Due to President's Day holiday, the February MS Support Group will take place next week, the second Monday of the month, on February 11th at 10:00 AM. The public is welcome to these meetings. Representative James Miceli's office hours day at the Senior Center has been changed. The new date scheduled is Tuesday, February 26th beginning at 10:00 AM. Valentine's Dance is scheduled for Feb. 10.
DJ Jon Mansfield will be at the Senior Center this coming Monday, January 30th, for an afternoon dance. One may still obtain a ticket at the door after 12:00 noon. However, lunch will not be available to those who purchase a ticket at the door. The Friends and COA are looking for those special Tewksbury couples who have been married 50 or 50+ years but never been guests at a Senior Center Valentine Dance. If you are such a couple or know of one, please jot the information down on a piece of paper and drop it off or mail it to the Director at the Senior Center. A look at events sponsored by the Tewksbury Senior Center for the coming month.
The Silver Tones will hold a dance this Friday, September 16th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are available at the door at $10 per person. Refreshments are served mid evening and the attire is casual. Results of the Mary Ann Wareham Golf Connections will be noted in next week’s column. The Senior Center “Annual Afternoon Tea” will be held this coming Sunday, September 18th at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $10 per person and should be purchased prior to the event. This delightful afternoon will be highlighted by a performance from theater and TV star Richard Clark as he performs “And Now…Mark Twain”. High Tea will be served after the performance.
