Police Dispatch received a 911 call Sunday morning (Dec. 30) reporting that a man had severed his finger in a snowblower accident. The call came in at 10:33 a.m. from a residence on Chester Street. Full emergency medical response was dispatched to the scene. The man was rushed by ambulance to Lahey Medical Center in Burlington. There was no immediate word on his condition or if the finger was able to be reattached. Drug arrests in IHOP parking lot An officer working a detail at Motel 6 requested a cruiser early Saturday (Dec. 29) after seeing suspicious activity in a vehicle in the parking lot of the IHOP restaurant.
