Domestic Assault Arrest; Lottery Ticket Theft

A New Hampshire man is facing felony charges after allegedly assaulting an adult family member at a Mystic Avenue residence. Michael T. Granese, 60, 23 Emerson Drive, Fremont, NH, was arrested at the residence Friday (Nov. 18) morning and charged with assault and battery. Tewksbury Police had received a call from a woman who said she had just left the residence and that a man she identified as Granese had pushed her and grabbed her neck. Police encouraged the woman to come into Police Headquarters, which she did. After interviewing the woman, officers were sent to Mystic Avenue to arrest Granese. Main Street Shell Station Robbed Again

Police say suspect fits the description of the man being sought in previous robbery.

Tewksbury Police are hunting for a man they say robbed the Shell Station at 1975 Main St. early Saturday morning. According to a Police Department press release, investigators believe it may be the same man who robbed the same Shell Station two weeks ago. "The suspect fits the description of an armed robbery that occurred on August 27, 2010," read the press release, in part. "He is described as a younger white male 5'4" to 5'6", medium build, dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses, light colored jeans and black shoes." The previous robbery took place around 2 a.m. The most recent heist took place just before 6 a.m. In both cases, the robber was armed with a knife and wore a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses to hide his identity. …
