Angelina's Italian Ristorante Granted Entertainment License

Live music will include keyboard and vocals.

Music, singing and maybe even a little dancing are returning to 1866 Main St. At its meeting on Tuesday, the Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to grant an entertainment license to Angelina's Italian Ristorante. Angelina's opened last year in the same space that once was home to The Black Olive, a restaurant that also featured live entertainment. Appearing before the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday, Angelina's owner Sue Amato said the type of entertainment the restaurant will offer won't result in any rowdy crowds. The said there is a keyboard player who performs weekly and she is looking to hire a vocalist to perform on a weekly basis also. "It's not loud music. And we stop serving at 9 p.m.," said Amato.
